Treasurer Stacy Garrity Announces $5.5 Million in Savings for PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan Account Owners
Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity today announced that asset-based fees will be waived for PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan (GSP) account owners for the third year in a row. This year’s fee waiver will save families $5.5 million and is funded by PA 529 GSP surplus earnings.

Treasurer Stacy Garrity Announces Record PA 529 GSP Enrollments During 529 Day Promotion
Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced today that more new PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan (GSP) accounts were opened during Treasury’s 529 Day promotion in May than in any past 529 Day promotion. Over 1,200 PA 529 GSP accounts were opened last month for new beneficiaries, and total GSP contributions were more than $17 million.
